Material Transformations

I wanted to share some images from a recent exhibition at Valdosta State University: http://www.valdostadailytimes.com/news/local_news/material-transformations/article_2ccc383f-3557-5e66-9cdd-447a5778ec24.html

This four person show featured artists that transform commonplace materials to unexpected ends.

I was fortunate to receive funding from the Wyoming Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts to cover some of the framing costs.  Some of the work will travel to the Oak Park Public Library for an exhibition that I have there in June.  Enjoy!

Diversity in Nature

Cover IMG_4886_Online

I’ve been so fortunate to work on a big project called Diversity in Nature in Pinedale, WY over the past few months.  It began with a residency at the Children’s Learning Center and culminated with the installation of a public work inspired by my time there with the kids.  There are still components of the piece that need to be completed, but it’s so exciting to see things coming together.  I really hope to find opportunity to bring art to kids more in the future._DSC0389_DSC0380
